Hi folks. I'm Lindsay the narrator for this blog and the man I talk about so much in it is my husband Micah! We have been married for a year and 1/2 now and have already made some great memories. Micah is a marine at Camp Lejeune, NC and is re-enlisting...has it been 5 years already since he swore in? I am graduating from UNCW in the fall of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am working towards teaching military children and then moving on up to a master's degree :) We have experienced how God has worked through us as a couple already and we're excited to see what else he has in store for the future!
Lou...my Grandma's cat thought he was the head of the table! This past weekend I drove up to Clarksburg, West Virginia...(an 8 hour drive! ahh!) to surprise my Grandma for her birthday. Micah wasn't able to get off work but he was busy getting ready for the opening day of bow season. My parents were up there so I got to spend a lot of time with them and my Aunt Beth. We also met up with my Uncle Brad and my cousin Micah. It was great getting to see all the family!
Finally! Dre, my sister-in-law's first visit to North Carolina. Although it has only been just over a month I moved from Florida, it feels like a lifetime not seeing your best friend! But we did a lot for the Labor day weekend when she was here. We went to Topsail Beach, had a cookout at Tyler & Lauren's house, had a girl's sushi night, got pedicures, went dancing, and even worked out! But she just didn't want to leave Micah and I so she missed her flight and stayed an extra day...well maybe that isn't entirely true ;) but she got back to Florida just fine. Over all the weekend was a blast and it was great for Micah and I to spend it with Dre. I'm counting down the days to visit Florida in December!
